OECS Director of Operations

Under the direction of the Director General, the Director of Operations through strategic and transformational leadership, will drive the operational functions of the Commission to achieve operational excellence. Responsible for executing on the strategic priorities of the organisation, the role plays an integral part in the development and implementation of a robust transformation strategy to enable the Commission to deliver on its mandate.

Job Description

A strategic thinker with proven leadership skills the Director of Operations shall be responsible for the following internal functions:

  • Facilities
  • Communications
  • Knowledge Management

Job Location

The OECS Commission is headquartered in Saint Lucia. The position of Director of Operations is open to nationals of OECS member states and the position is placed at the Headquarters in Saint Lucia.

Benefits

The position is on the permanent establishment subject to satisfactory annual reviews. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and exempt from income taxes. In addition to the basic salary, the post attracts other allowances. The incumbent will be eligible for membership in the Organisation's non-contributory Group Health and Life Insurance Scheme, and the Group Pension Plan. Reasonable location expenses will be reimbursed where applicable.
